Het begon regenachtig maar gelukkig klaarde het in de loop van de ochtend op en werd het meteen gezellig zoals vanouds. De interim-burgemeester Peter van Velden opende de Koningsmarkt om 9.30 uur in aanwezigheid van de Leidse Oranjevereniging en The Band of Liberation. Na het Wilhelmus en het Leidse volkslied kwamen nog wat mooie nummers voorbij om de regen even te vergeten.<\/p><p>De interim-burgemeester nam de tijd voor bijna alle kraampjes en nam een heerlijke oranje tulband mee van onze lokale bakkerij Raaphorst als mooie herinnering aan deze gezellige Koningsmarkt. En dank aan iedereen met een kraam op kleedje om ondanks het regenachtige begin, toch in grote getalen aanwezig te zijn en er weer een mooie dag van te hebben gemaakt!
